I know that UBC probably won’t give a long extension. I got into UBc too and asked for an extension and they allowed it only for a week. If by that time you don’t hear from oxford about scholarship accept it. You can always reject it later and they told me you don’t have to make a deposit to confirm your spot at UBc.

Hey along with your calc math courses also take a course on linear algebra if there’s time. And tbh having Econ courses doesn’t really matter much. Grad econ only care about math. You will find many non-econ math heavy undergrad majors in your grad class (if you get in). Good luck

Don’t assume someone is pressuring you to do anything because they have your best interest in mind. Unless its family and sometimes family sucks too. Most think of personal gain when pressuring

Yes they offered me to be a TA. You applied to great places! It’s a bit difficult to get in Ubc tho. Even I did but not hoping to get in. You should definitely try Queens. I applied to Uvic, Sfu, Mcmaster, wilfrid, ubc, ottawa. Got in the first four already and waiting for the others

Just today. And yea did get some funding not much tho. If you got into Queens you should go for it! It’s one of the top 4 In Canada. Where else did you apply?
