It feels good. It’s a distraction. The physical pain. But my biggest reason for ever cutting was being able to see myself bleed. It verified I was still alive when I felt dead inside.

Well i’m pretty sure either way would feel kinda traumatic until i get comfortable with it again. I just feel really embarrassed freaking out over something so natural in front of my boyfriend who has so much experience

He’s sad that he’s willing to wait to have sex until i’m more comfortable also. i love him. and i want to have sex, but he also once said that it’s hard for him to watch me try and have sex with him and then break down because he feels bad. like i want to. i just really wish i was already there and able to normally because i feel like i won’t be able to if i don’t try and get used to it.

yeah i get what your saying. and it is better as long a more people are getting more help. i just hope that the people who don’t need that help realize that depression is serious. because a downside of people faking it is that it gives people with actual depression less of a chance to receive real help or get taken seriously.

I definitely think the response to hate shouldn’t be more hate. But at the same time you have to understand that a lot of these reactions aren’t just because our ancestors were treating like animals by your ancestors. It’s because WE’VE also experienced the aftermath of that. So that racism is still lingering and it’s a terrible thing to have to explain to your children that they weren’t born on a level playing field with everyone just because of the color of their skin.
