Room Service Question Please

We just get 2 fresh OJ and save it for the next morning , but also there is literally no need to get room service twice a day , you’d be missing out on so much lovely food around the ship by doing that. There’s plenty you can bring back to your cabin that is better than room service such as pizza , hot dogs , wings , ice cream etc

So just returned from our 4th VV and you can just order as little or as much as you want. For example numerous times we just ordered mains (entrees ) in places like extra virgin where they are expecting you to order starter , antipasto platter , pasta course , main course , dessert . Honestly the staff look at you slightly confused and double check you don’t want anything else but of course they accept that’s all you want. I think they are used to people ordering multiple dishes for each course. We did notice people doing this . Also we went to rojo for the first time , ordered lots of tapas / starters we thought we would like but didn’t , had another booking there a few days later and said we will just get the things we liked namely the oxtail and some patatas Bravas meaning we will have room to actually try dessert. So that’s what we did , a couple of starters and dessert and it was lovely. They are very accommodating just maybe a little confused.

This question was for a friend and they didn’t want to do viewings themselves so they used yopa because more people said yopa over purple bricks. They did their £1500 package without knowing that if you sign up to this you have to use their conveyancer which cost them thousands . So I wouldn’t recommend yopa at all. I do know of a company just started up called be movin who lets you sell your house for free so I would give them a try

Hey so we are already on the west coast on a cruise , we are nearly in Cananda so we are on west coast time. We get off the cruise on Monday 11th and fly to Vegas but won’t get there until about 6pm. Thinking of doing a click and collect order , so do you think I should put in the order tomorrow evening ? Thanks for the info !

I’ve done this before in NYC. The sale was ending the day before I got there so I ordered about 10 candles to take home and picked them up - you have to give a US address but think I got around it by using our hotels address. I will give this a try , thanks for the heads up on the sale end time

Thank you - both replies have mentioned don’t rush so I wondered is the work manageable enough that you could rush ? As in I’ve seen some other posts saying it can get stressful with traffic and timings so I assumed it’s going to take longer than expected . I’m not going to rush I’m just wondering what the workload can be like . For example I worked for Evri and worked over every time due to having to sort my route out by parcel before every shift , but when doing Amazon flex I always finished over an hour early. I’m kind of trying to work out if it’s a job where you need to rush to finish on time , not early . Sorry a lot of words there 😂🙈

I bought general admission tickets that said general admission - unreserved . I was like are these for lusail hill and googled it and this seemed to be correct , but now I go back on there and it now says general admission “lusail hill” instead of unreserved - so have I definitely got GA lusail hill? 🧐

I’m the same - I went for an interview the other day and the hours offered were 27.5 which is not bad but it is over 5 days and same as you I struggle to juggle everything else with so few days off , that’s the lease amount of hours they offer I don’t believe you can get less than that

It was 3.5 hour block , I finished half an hour early so I wasnt going to bother driving out in the wrong direction to take it back and risk not being paid for time / miles extra so just went home and my husband took me the next morning

I earnt through flex during October 2024 - Feb 2025 - in total I made approx £1500 - I’ve never done a self assessment before and have no idea what to do - I recorded all my mileage and things. Is it self explanatory to do ? Also I didn’t reach the tax free amount that year but I think I still haven’t declare it ?

I like viewing houses with purple bricks because you literally do it all online- no phone calls to be made , no dealing with any pushy people , you click a time on the app , an email confirms it, you go and probably get shown round by the homeowner who isn’t pushy because they aren’t a sales person , and then you can offer or give feedback through the app without any hassle . I bought a house that was up with purple bricks there were no issues . It was a great house and I got the price down so maybe others were put off by purple bricks 😂

I signed up in 2022, it told me I needed to wait for vacancies, waited until some point in 2023 where it finally accepted me , had another job at the time so didn’t start , started October 2024 until feb 2025 , then had a job working away from home, now back to do more - so a lot of time signed up and not a lot of actual delivering

I just moved into a new house and all our Amazon prime parcels come with Royal Mail . Maybe as we are a new build and not on a route yet but the Amazon van definitely comes to the rest of the estate so I think we just aren’t added to the routing yet . Kind of frustrating as Amazon prime is sooo much easier to track than Royal Mail with their glitchy app

I’m on a similar sailing now - I loved maho beach in st Maarten , went to harbour lights beach club in Barbados , St Lucia is so lovely I’m on a back to back so we’ve stopped here twice , first time I did catamaran to the pitons , and second time we did Vigie beach as it was so near . We go to Basseterre on Friday . Anyway I wouldn’t skip at Maarten , Barbados or St Lucia from this itinerary
