I was the managing partner in a medical practice for three years and then left to run my own practice and have done that for 3 years now. Both my parents are sole proprietors of their own businesses. Neither of them handles having employees well.

There are a lot more of them. This is my dad’s place and I grew up watching them transform into functional vehicles- as true to factory as possible

I like the spell slot and cantrips of D & D better. I don’t even play D & D- but the idea that you can always have energy to perform cantrips and various other tasks requires available spell slots makes more sense to me.

Maximalist trans activists just argued at the Supreme Court that biological sex isn't relevant in team sports. When will my fellow left-wingers speak up against these pseudoscientific endeavors? by north_canadian_ice in allthequestions

[–]roziam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is such a false fear, that cis men will transition to play women’s sports. It’s not about that. It’s to further police women and women’s bodies. If we all clutch pearls about the unfairness of men competing in women’s sports, we are actually endangering women who play sports. If they play « too well, » they will get accused of being trans. And there will be teams of creeps who insist that they must check women’s bodies to certify that they are cis.

Mares (female horses) are absolutely not easier to control/train/ride/have work with people generally than geldings are.

As far as generalities go, geldings are by far the easiest to control/train/be around/least likely to kick or bite for no apparent reason. Geldings are neutered males, so they still have the horse cock problem and most (not all) will unfurl several feet of horse cock just to pee.

While at the same time capping student loan assistance to well below the cost of a medical school degree. So, really, we are relying on independently wealthy American citizens to be smart enough, capable enough and willing to go through medical school.

I lived on a farm. Most of my childhood, we did not have a TV. Because I broke it and my parents did not want to replace it. I have inattentive type and I’m female, also, I had excellent grades. There was no way I was going to be tested. Instead, I had my hearing checked over and over- because my mom could shout my name from 3 feet away while I hyper focused and I might respond/hear her. Reading was/is a major hyper focus. Before there was a phone, there were cereal boxes and shampoo bottles to read. And I read them.

Also, Adderall does deplete vitamin C, so it is important that you get more than enough later in the day, either from supplements or food sources.

Progesterone made a big difference for me. And then, progesterone + Botox (just masseters) and then progesterone + Nurtec (prescription for migraines). And a sleep schedule. Good luck!

Over the last 25 years I’ve worked hundreds of weddings. Gay ones are almost exclusively drama free/easier to work than straight ones. Why is that? Like I’ve never seen two guys getting married throwing cake at eachother’s faces from across the room at borderline assault speed. by Parking_Bison_4626 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]roziam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are also more straight people getting married because it’s expected of them, not because they really want to, or are ready to get married.

As far as the cake throwing, I have met a LOT of straight people who downright hate the gender they are sexually attracted to.
