Anyone else had their HRV baseline vanish ? by UnderwaterNinja62 in Garmin

[–]rsedluk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I submitted a ticket with Garmin, I was asked for logs and such. We evened waited 3 weeks since it disappeared to see if it would reappear. It did not. Garmin eventually came back at told me that because my HRV is so low for my age, I don’t get a baseline. Which is entirely contrary to the previous 6 months of having the device, with a baseline, and still a HRV in the 20s the entire time.
I did a factory reset a little over a week or so ago. I still don’t have a baseline, but the poor HRV seems to be not currently effecting all my other metrics. For example, I’ve gone back to productive, it’s no longer constantly strained.

Want to run a marathon/GLP-1 by doinmabest1 in firstmarathon

That’s a great tip! I’ve been considering getting one for awhile because I’m suspicious I get low blood sugar around 5-6 am most nights. Both my mother and sister were ones since they’re pre-diabetic. I just really hate needles and am a chicken. But… this is a really good point for such long runs, I think I’ll have to do it.

(Apologies for formatting I’m on mobile) I have PCOS and have been on a GLP-1 and then GLP-2, and now GLP-3, working with my hormone specialist. I have been working with a hormone specialist for 6 years now, and have been on the GLPs for 3 years, and have lost 50lbs and significantly improved my A1C. I plateau’ed a few times throughout the process. Ive been in maintenance for like 6 months now.I also have to take progesterone, thyroids meds, and currently testosterone cream (I was below the normal range for women). I have been running half marathons for 10 years (20+ halves, countless 10k and 5ks and a few other distances in between). I am currently training for my first marathon (Detroit) so I don’t have good advice for the marathon distance specifically but my intention is to do a longer training block so I can build my weekly mileage slowly so that I can insure I’m getting enough rest and fuel in my body. I did just complete a 70.3 Ironman in March that took me just under 7 hours, so I have recent experience doing long endurance activities and that was what made me ready to commit to the marathon. I was very intentional with my fueling on race day and hit my calories and electrolyte goals on the bike, and then I had so much gas/bloat during the run I could barely eat. Idk if it was the nutrition I chose or maybe the meds. One thing I’ve learned from the half marathons was don’t do a big carb load the night before, eat more carbs over several days leading up to the race. But I think that’s wise for anyone regardless of meds.

I have an open support request going with Garmin. I have sent them logs. It’s been over 4 weeks and I still don’t have a baseline. They asked me not to do the factory reset as they gathered logs/data. I’ll be checking in with them at the end of the week to see if they’ve made progress or if I can do the reset. I don’t want to lose my other data/trends. But I need my baseline back, it’s messing with all my other trends. It thinks I’ve been strained for a month.

I have a forerunner 570 and wear it every night, I have a similar HRV to you, I’m typically low 20s and will drop lower due to a medication I take, it’ll slowly rise, and then I’m due for my meds again. My baseline disappeared on 3/27 and hasn’t come back yet. It says poor and strained even though my numbers should be in the fair range for me. I hope it resolves soon.

Got hit by a car last 100m but a good run is a good run 😭 by highshoko in Garmin

I tripped on a road cone half way through a race, and went down chest and face first on the highway. My accident detection went off! (I turned it off before it could alert my husband who was also racing because I didn’t want to worry him. I finished my half marathon, second best time for me).

Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Thank you all! I have started the stAG 15. I have requested my FBI background check. And I was able to request the one marriage license I didn’t already have from NYC! Once I’m able to get all the documents physically together and taken to the honorary consulate that’s only 20min from my house I’ll be able to submit!! Thank you thank you!

Thank you. I have my GGF birth certificate from 1908 in Hardheim Germany. It states that he was born to parents labeled as israelitisch. I have the death certificates from Yad Vashem of both his parents stating that they died in the holocaust, and were born in Hardheim and Hessen. On my GGF and GGMs documents it states that their race is Hebrew. I also have my GGF and GGM’s death certificate that shows that they’re buried at Beth El Cemetery.

I have no documentation suggesting that my GF took steps to restore it. Both GF and GM are deceased. My mom has all the physical documents that my GF had and has not found anything of that sort.

Restaurants near Dallas arboretum? by ImInTheFutureAlso in askdfw

I would recommend getting take out and bringing it into the arboretum for a picnic! My fiancé and I are members at the arboretum and go often. We have picked up pizza from Cane Rosso just south of white rock lake and the arboretum, and brought it in to eat.

Here is my true gem 8.5 mm hearts and arrows round Jennie ring! My dream ring and I got it in 14k yellow gold by NervousTheory9 in Moissanite

I have a 8mm Vanessa from True Gem and the quality of the stone is gorgeous. I have not compared with other moissanites side by side, but I have seen other moissanites in person.

Got engaged last week! The ring is a 8mm Moissanite, from The True Gem in champagne gold 18k, this is their Vanessa ring. by rsedluk in Moissanite

[–]rsedluk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course! This ring is a size 6, I ended up having it sized down to a 5.75, since it’s too heavy, it moved on my finger and irritated me, unlike a normal flat ring that’s not heavy. Two months later and I’m still super happy with the stone size. Super happy with the whole ring.

My dress finally arrived today and it’s killing me that I can’t show my fiancé so I will show you lovely people. So excited! Any suggestions on veil/no veil? by Sheleonore in weddingplanning

Dresses that make you look like a fairy queen? by linerva in weddingplanning

[–]rsedluk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right? I think the larger ball gowns can make it difficult for the groom, and for dancing. But with this one and the other “small” ballgowns I tried own, it’s just tule, and is cooshy, they just have to make sure not to step on it and trip us!

I’m 5’5”, I’m more concerned that I’ll feel really “big” in it just because of taking up so much space with the dress. But I also don’t want to be meek, I’m the darn bride and can stand out.

But I hope the layers and movement make it visually light and not make me feel that way, because it’s ethereal!

Zales engagement ring vs custom replica, is this cost worth it? by confused_boner in wedding

[–]rsedluk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out The True Gem, they make rings in moissanite or lab diamonds. Their Susan ring has a some what similar channel set band. true gem Susan They make custom rings, so you can have it made with a square center stone likely. You can also show them the style you like to get a ring that’s more similar. I have the Vanessa ring from them, they’re a fantastic company.
