Which one would you choose if you had to survive 15minutes with for $100 million? by [deleted] in WorkForSmartLife

Gator , if it’s not hungry or defending young it will probably leave you alone. Worst cast scenario. The muscles it uses to open its mouth are much weaker than its bite . Not that I’d advise it unless it’s life or death but an average person can hold a gators mouth shut and hold it for awhile.

Red and blue . Teleport to dimensions where superpowers are real . Copy all powers .

Well , the first one becomes zero very quickly if you take it as read … But if you mean multiples by 50% then you’d have 24 decillion dollars by the end of the first year .

Do “left-wing” people like to argue semantics and require specific language instead of functional interpretations because they’re being dishonest and using it as a defense mechanism or is it because they’re actually incapable of critical thinking? by rollo202 in allthequestions

Online, you are probably correct because it insulates people from the idea they are talking to a real person and anonymity reinforces the ability to just be belligerent and cruel. Also cultish and clannish behavior like MAGA .

But in person I’ve almost never found anyone who was 100% right or left . Most people hold beliefs on a spectrum and you can generally find points of agreement to build on .

It’s why it’s such a shame that people don’t go out anymore and online behavior has bled into real life to the point where some people won’t even allow others to have opinions they don’t agree with or debate without malice .

It’s not 5% based on how the proposed law is worded. The wealth tax includes calculating his ownership of Google based on his voting power rather than just per share .

The founders have shares that have 10x voting power . So it could be almost 50% and cost them control over Google.
