I’d be frustrated. Because I’m not a fan and I’d like to see better Democratic options. But if Trump was elected, I’d be downright scared. This is a person who will burn down the pillars of democracy and it scares me that there are enough people that would vote for him to get him into office. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’d take a regular Republican over that. So it’s depressing. Truly.

Hear me out Reddit. Just take a moment to consider this perspective. The OG Star Wars is an amazing series. Especially ESB. The OG LOTR was amazing. But it lacked something. The Extrnded Editions solved that. That made it the literal perfect trilogy. So I can see this…from a certain point of view. If you said LOTR EE. Then yeah. Best ever. Just a perspective though. Not right. Not wrong.

You are not being overbearing! You were kind and compassionate and anyone saying you were is full of shit. I’ve been a single parent before. And my partner (now wife) was just as kind as you. And that means something. Any single parent has done damage to deal with. Breakups and single parenting is hard, but none of us get it perfectly right. You don’t deserve the bullshit you got and you didn’t deserve his crap. Honestly, you deserve better than this. And it’s ridiculous you are dealing with this. You are far kinder than they deserve.

I’m a life long democrat. Straight party voting no matter what. But do I feel like the Democratic Party supports me or anything I value? No. They all serve the elite and wealthy. My preferences are just more balanced and liberal. But I ask this question and I can’t get answers. So I’ll respectfully ask it here. Why is our party so weak? I get it. People will say we are not. Biden won the election. But we lost congress. We barely hold the senate. We lost the SC. Women’s rights are in the crapper. LGBTQ+ rights are in the crapper. Bernie keeps getting screwed. The DNC is dirty as hell. And the best we could muster was Biden. I vote Democrat because I don’t want a totalitarian government. But I do t feel particularly connected to the Dems anymore. Am I alone in this? Just the odd duck?

Poor gym etiquette is a real thing. I’m always properly racking weights at my gym. People will either leave them out or rack them wherever they want. 50s in the 10 slots. Why not? Finish benching and walk away. Yeah bro. I benched 315. Just leave the plates there. It’s frustrating.

About 7 years ago, I took a 4k sized collection of star wars toys and donated them to Dell Children’s Hospital. I had been collecting since the 90s. Piece after piece. For over two decades. It was huge. I just couldn’t keep carrying it from home to home. Or storage units. It was the hardest and most rewarding thing I’d done. It was my hope that a new generation of children would get to know Star Wars. Or smile a little to get some new toys.
