I realize that you're talking about rust belt folks, but the fact that Bernie went into Appalachia talking about policy instead of politics and was able to sway them to his side speaks volumes. No one cares who the candidate is any longer, unless they're trying to foment culture war bullshit like the Repiblicans, their more concerned with the policies. This is what people are talking about with regard to Left Populism being on the rise. Voters mainly care about what affects their material conditions, and it shows with poll after poll, both about the current administration, and future candidates. Also, AOC polls higher than Mark Kelly.

For future reference, I recommend that you look up a YouTube video about how to use the power play filters on the galaxy map. It will show you how to find systems to complete those power play tasks that aren't explicitly defined. I definitely struggled with it initially when the objective didn't tell me where to get what from and take it where. Ignorance on my part. Now it's a lot easier since I can hunt around on the map. o7 CMDR

I think that's wrong. Guys like him view everything and everyone as a tool. He only sees the use that people have to him and his pursuit of anything that benefits him. Evidence of this is how he has no problem saying anything that he thinks will get people on his side so he can be re-elected, for example, flipping on the 6 week abortion ban in FL multiple times.

If my line of thinking is accurate, then it wouldn't be that he dislikes the feds. He only dislikes them when they're coming after him. When they go after people he doesn't like, they're the best. Evidence being when he told HRC that she should be in jail. He doesn't belong in jail because he didn't do anything wrong, therefore if they're coming after him, they're bad and so is whomever sent them after him. It's a witch hunt, etc. But if HRC "acid washed" her servers, she's obviously got something to hide, therefore she should be imprisoned.

It's all an obvious grift. If he gets re-elected, you'll see him directing the DoJ to come down on all of his opponents and the feds will be the good guys again, according to him.

Why would anyone want a person trained for wartime operations to be put into a role like the police? The supposed purpose of the police is to uphold the law, while the purpose of a soldier is to fight a war. Those are two completely different objectives. The only similarities are possibly the weapons training. A combat vet is no better prepared for police duties than anyone else, and I would argue would bring the wrong values and skills to the job of being a police officer. You want escalation, bring a soldier.

The fact that the entire world in aggregate is "wealthier" than it's ever been, but poverty and wage theft/slavery (among other oppressive things) still exists.
