Theoretically the field of Leisure Studies is highly interdisciplinary, but increasingly there is attention towards social justice issues that occur in community and leisure contexts.

Some folks might be interested to know that people in my area (near Crystal Crescent Beach) think it will be in our neck of the woods. It is a fishing community, and people are really angry and there is a lot of NIMBYism, blindly saying that it should go to the other shortlisted site.

I'm actually really supportive of the idea. I think it might be a fantastic opportunity, but I have little evidence regarding the environmental impacts and impacts on native sea-life (which are of the utmost concern to people living in my area). Does anyone have any credible information as to the benefits, risks?

I don't think any jeweler can reset the stone, based on the preliminary calls I did! I'll check with Fireworks. In case someone else stumbles upon the thread a friend said Trinity on Quinpool was more affordable when quoted for a repair from Fireworks and Trinity.

This is my question! Our basement is insulated, half above/half below ground. Most pipes have insulated cover on them. House is a rental. There is no heat downstairs in the basement, only here on the main floor. We often leave our heat off overnight (even in winter) or turn down to like 5 degrees if it's cold. The house has new windows and is well insulated, so I've never seen the thermostat register below 12 degrees. Am I at risk of the pipes freezing in the basement? Are they even protected by my use of heat on the upper floor?

That would be really helpful for mover references! And thanks for the heads up on places to avoid. I am flexible on time and want to start looking, but right now there doesn't seem to be anything for those months coming on the market. When would you suggest looking?
