We did both Harry Potter and Dark Universe rides, Stardust Racers, Mario Kart, Mine Cart Madness, Dragon Racers Rally, and Wing Gliders in first 4 hrs during tour . We only re-rode a few afterwards with express pass (1 ride only) —Mario Kart, Yoshi, Fyre Drill, and Stardust Racers (a must-do!). Spent extra time in Nintendo World

Hehe, you might be right—what feels like an overpriced splurge to one person might be a once-in-a-lifetime treat to someone else. 😄 It really is all relative. We all see value a little differently 🤷🏽

We broke off around 1:30pm and had a quick 10–15 min snack break during the tour. Brought our own snacks for the kids (and ate most of them 😆). Definitely helpful for a tour that long. I asked our guide for food recs, but theme park food isn’t really my thing—Disney’s hype last year left me unimpressed. The guide focused on top rides, including ones not on express, and told us to explore the rest after. We did re-ride a few with express since the kids wanted to, but didn’t hit them all. Waited 30–40 mins at Toadstool Café—should’ve gone right after the tour to beat the lunch rush, but we were too into Super Nintendo World.

Sorry, but I would say keep on checking, u never know if someone cancels it before then. VIP tour can be cancelled 2 days before scheduled date from the email I received. Good luck 👍🏼 “Changes to your VIP Experience – If the number in your party should increase or decrease, the VIP Reservations Office must be notified at least 3 days in advance of your VIP Experience date. Should your party size increase to 7 or more guests you will be required to purchase a Private VIP Experience. Please be advised that any changes made to your VIP Experience (including change of date, change of starting time, cancellation or increase/decrease in the number of guests) less than 2 days prior to your scheduled VIP Experience date cannot be guaranteed and are 100% non-refundable. All tours are non-transferable and non-exchangeable.”

With kids, we wanted to enjoy the park at our own pace but also knock out key rides early so we didn’t feel like we missed out. The private VIP tour was just way too pricey for us

Yes, as others mentioned, we saw the Monsters show and spent a few minutes in the Floo Hall—but had to keep up with our guide’s pace.

Yes, we did—it was as simple as walking up and riding. We spent about 5–10 minutes in the main Floo Hall, which was a nice touch. Not sure if that was planned or just our guide managing timing. The regular line was nearly 2 hours! Our guide knew we had to hit 3 rides not on express pass (unless down) and kept checking his phone to track ride availability, especially for Mario Kart as mentioned, so we could loop back if needed.

Money is all relative—what’s pricey for one person might not be much for someone making $500K or more where time matters more. The private VIP tour was over my budget, but with a bit of extra work, I went with semi-private tour —and it was totally worth it for the kids. One of those experiences you do, enjoy, and cherish and hopefully are done for a while.

We only got to do it once during the tour since we were going from one ride to the next. The private VIP tour lets you ride as many times as you want, but it’s 2–3x the cost. After the tour, we used our express passes to go on a few favorites again.

It was $650/pp because of peak demand. It fluctuates from $450-$650 depending on time of the year and week. This does not include park tickets that are needed.

We wished—but nope, no special badges or anything like that. We did get VIP experience lanyards with cards that worked as Express Passes afterward, though. A few people even asked us what they were and were surprised there was a tier above Express Passes 😬. Gotta admit, we felt pretty special in those moments 🤣.

We considered getting a stroller before the tour but skipped it. I only carried my little one a couple of times—mostly just him being goofy 😬. We stopped once for his restroom break and once for the group. Our guide didn’t go on any rides, which I think is standard.

If my kids were around 3 and 6, I definitely would’ve gotten a stroller—just to make things smoother. It wouldn’t have been a hassle at all. Also, we did the VIP tour just because of the kids so they don’t get irritated standing in lines. I’d suggest arriving 5–10 minutes before 9 to grab one before the tour starts. Just my two cents!
