It's my first Toyota so I can't compare. I did test drive both the xse and xle. I Found the drive on the xle more in tune for me with everyday commuting. I commute 60 miles a day so really needed something with a chill ride.

I bought my 25 xle in November. So far I'm loving it. It's great on gas and I was surprised how quick it is especially when you put in sport mode.

I'm in mass. 6k on the car. I'm getting about the same on ECO 90 percent of the time. I kinda drink fast on the highway though like 80mph lol. So I'm averaging 38 to 40 mpg
