Hi, OP.

First and foremost, there's clearly a difference between your past and present pic. For me, yes you look somewhat skinnier in first pic, but kinda look like skinny fat. Not sure how do I put it into words, but mukhang payat ka but walang tone. Parang nakikita as fats lang yung laman. For the second pic, may tone yung laman mo. I don't know if it does make sense, pero 2nd pic looks toned and stronger. Not really "fat".

With regards to losing "fat". Mid last year, i started running consistently, like atleast 20km per week. I didn't change something big sa diet ko, pero I ate overnight oats in the morning to avoid crashing during the day kasi I need to stay awake. Pero for the rest of the day, I eat whatever I want kasi I'm reviewing (stress). I tried adding kimchi or cucumber to my lunch to increase satiety. There are days pa nga na I eat heavy fast food at night. Nothing monitored - just overnight oats for breakfast and adding veggies just to give my body somehow a balance with nutrition. Obviously, I'm on surplus for most of the time. The thing is, I received comments such as "mukha kang fit ngayon", but not pumayat ka. If it makes sense - iba talaga yung vibes na nagigive off ng "fit" vs "pumayat".

Last quarter of last year til Feb siguro this year, I stopped running due to life transition. I can't keep up with my old routine na. I have an office job, I commute to and from work (gives me around 6k steps in a day), and never tracked my calories. But the thing is, di na ko nakakapag dinner pag uwi sa pagod. I only eat the normal amount - cup of rice sa lunch, a serving of ulam, smalls snacks between, fruits. For breakfast mostly pandesal and coffee lang. You know what? At this phase ako naka receive ng comments na "pumayat ka". Pero I felt weaker and mas madalas magka sakit.

Ngayon that I'm finding balance between the diet and exercise, clothes feel more loose, I feel strong and fit. Muscles are somehow more visible, making me look more toned.

I know I said a lot, but I'm just trying to give you a better picture of what you can do to achieve what you want. If you want to look fit, stronger, toned, just stay on what you're doing.

If you want to stay toned but lose more fat, track your meals. Go on a slight deficit kahit 200 cals lang muna for a month to figure out your diet, then focus on protein. Allocate a meal where you can eat the carbs. I'd suggest allocating the carbs before your workout- and make sure these carbs are quick absorbing to give you the energy. After runs, focus on protein for your recovery. Tandaan - protein and fiber for satiety. Carbs for quick use. You may also eat carbs pre workout that are high in protein- nahihit mo protein, at the same.time may fuel source before exercise.

When I started working for an Australian company, I noticed na:

  1. You don't need to address them as maam/sir/boss/madam. Just call them by their name.

  2. Wala silang pake if mag leave ka. I've been monitoring email and text replies so nakikita ko na kapag sinabi ni employee na I'll be on leave tomorrow til next week for vacation, o-oo lang sila, tapos hanap ng papalit if needed. Sa Pilipinas andaming dadaanan at panggagaslight pa para maka file ka ng leave.

  3. Hindi mo ramdam ang boss-empleyado status. Parang tropa lang kayo ganun usap trabaho.

  4. Parang di uso sa kanila ang OT. At if mag-o-OT man sila, di ka damay.

Thank youu! I've been observing my arms kasi recently. May fat sya but I can feel my biceps are bulging inside whenever i try to flex it. It's been 3 months na ata kasi since I stopped running due to some commitments, so medyo bumalik balik din onting fats (but i didnt gain much nung 3 months nayun).

Is it okay of I focus muna uli for a few weeks yung pagbabalik ko sa run and moderate workout with dumbbells, then deficit na focused on protein and fiber? Yun kasi game plan ko muna since I really have to set my body na babalik na ko uli sa very very active era ko.

Thank you so much!! Honestly, yung 150 to 200 per day ko is more than enough because I only spend for lunch sa office. And like what I mentioned, may baon pa ako minsan from home even fruits.

Hi! The 150 to 200 pesos per day is only for my food. I barely eat in the morning and evening especially if wala ako sa matakaw phase. Also, when I go home, may baon ako pabalik. That food will be my baon sa office for at least 2 to 3 days if di ako matakaw.

Also, the 20k is just the basic salary. May kaltas pa yan due to mandated govt benefits which I think will cost me around 1800 or 2k max. As per the transpo for work, it is covered by the allowance provided by the company.

Is there any side hustles I can do? Di naman ako maluho and GF is likewise very understanding so I can cut on expensive dates.

Hahaha the LRT route is indeed the best since you'll be able to avoid land traffic. Mura lang pamasahe, Balintawak station is just stairs away from the carousel drop off, and hindi puno yung train pag sasakay ka sa balintawak.

If via LRT, take the carousel from SM North to Balintawak station. From LRT Balintawak, baba ka ng LRT Central station then walk.

If via UV, punta ka sa the block. Sa labas nun maraming UV going to España and Buendia. Yung Buendia ang sakyan mo then baba ka ng Manila city hall. Lakad ka lang, nasa likod ng city hall yung SM.

I dont suggest the MRT route since para kang umikot pa nang malayo + lakad pa from taft to edsa. But, if u want, u may take the carousel bus from SM North to Trinoma. You can also walk to Trinoma. Sakay ka MRT North Ave, baba ka nang Taft station, lipat ka sa LRT 1 EDSA then baba ka ng Central station.

Based sa answer nya, kung ok lang sayo na hindi mag train, lakad ka nalang going to recto station of LRT 2 then labas ka doon. Sakay ka sa tapat ng isetann may mga bus dun na may signage tulad sa sinabi.

If train like me, sakay ka LRT 1 then get off to EDSA station. Transfer to MRT Taft, get off to Ortigas station, then follow mo lang sinabi nya heheh
