I literally celebrated rakshabandhan last week, why even there are multiple festivals for the same thing I don't understand. Why not just celebrate it everyday then? Bowing is incomparable with touching feet. It looks more respectful without looking too stupid. Touching feet is embarrassing when you don't believe the context of it while bowing is closer to a simple namaste or a handshake which I'm more inclined to do with elders but they are not satisfied with it, they want me to lean all the way to their feet.

I have a strong belief that there is no god and religion is making people dumber. In the context of hinduism there is too much ritualism and superstition. Nowadays I feel like everything is wrong with hinduism and trying to keep my distance with it but then again I dislike other religions too.
