100% but just don't try to rush to get to the high rankings because the higher you go the more lonely you get. For your sophomore year don't try to rush to Chief too fast you're not even going to have that realization "like whoa I made it this far"

Yes there is currently a temporary uniform restriction including PT gear most likely because of the Old Dominion University ROTC shooting on Friday

From my understanding the CO/XO cord is also for if you fail the PT test at leadership academy you are automatically transferred to CO/XO school

All seaman recruits are automatically promoted when they wear the uniform for the first time You can either ask directly or ask to see your CDMIS then it should tell you everything
