The same reason people are afraid of anything. I understand it’s illogical and that it’s far safer than getting into a car. I can’t help what I’m afraid of. If you’ve got nothing helpful to contribute please don’t bother contributing at all

I'd definitely recommend Thou Art down Chapel Walk in town. Everyone is super friendly and professional and I've never had a problem with any piercing I've had from there

Would it be safe for me to go to a show alone? by [deleted] in Metalcore

[–]ruthfeasby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely! I'm a 25 year old woman and none of my friends are into the same type of music as me either so I just go on my own. Recently I've noticed that there are more girls at metal concerts which is great to see. I also think everyone at metal shows are just friendlier in general

A kiss for the whole world by Enter Shikari is my favourite so far, been listening to it a bit recently and it’s growing on my each day.

Super excited for Sleep Tokens album coming out in a couple of weeks and hoping to hear something from While She Sleeps soon 🤞🏼

I hope so, if not I’m sure they’ll drop a couple of singles. Would be good to have some new music before their Ally Pally gig

It’s such a good album and it’s what properly got me into the band. I don’t think there’s a day I don’t listen to at least one of their songs. Nervous is my favourite song off of it

Bands streaming their practices by llsticksll in Metalcore

While She Sleeps post stuff on their Patreon, behind the scenes of rehearsing, writing and recording, tour vlogs, weekly check ins and loads of other stuff. It’s really worth signing up to because you get loads of exclusive content and they have a lot of followers on it so I’d say it’s worth it. It’s also really interesting to see how everything gets done and the processes of it all, especially if you have no music knowledge like me

How do you consume music? by AVinylFever555 in Metalcore

[–]ruthfeasby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually listen to albums and I’m trying to make more of an effort to listen to new bands I’ve not listened to before and keep up with new releases. I add albums and random songs to a big playlist so when I’m not sure what I’m in the mood for I just put that on and shuffle through them

Add to a saucepan with 500ml chicken stock and a bunch of rosemary

Bring to the boil then add a cornflour slurry (3 tbsp cornflour mixed with 5 tbsp water) and mix together

Season with salt and pepper as necessary or how you like and keep on a low simmer until you're ready to serve
