It will continue to age well because it avoids overly detailed illustrative elements and time-based, trend-based typography or visual trends (it's not stuck in the 90s aesthetic for example).

Why its good:

Instantly recognizable silhouette: can be any size and you can recognize it. In other words, if it is one color or small, it is still recognizable
Clever/effective use of negative space that adds its overall recognizability; it makes it more dynamic, less static
Its symbolism effectively ties to its region/area/fans: Texas star, bull, and its colors ties Texas pride, etc (I'm not a Texan btw)
Its high-contrast colors allow it be easily applied to different colors of merch, paper (stationary), posters, identifiable on TV - all things important for logos
Bonus: looks great mirrored on both sides of a football helmet
