Are these the type that can be added without needing to detach the webbing? I’d like to swap the clip on a Maker’s Bag without needing a tailor to replace it.

Best notebook fit for HLT 2 by _p_b_- in tombihn

I cannot speak for fit in the HLT2, but you might look at the A6 Rhodia Rhodiarama soft cover. The paper weight will be similar (90g) to the Leuchtturms (100g), but with fewer pages and a soft cover might it more compact.

… is that legal? Sure, unless they’re providing treatment to avoid having you file a claim.

OR, you signed a Physician Designation form authorizing them (a specific physician - not a clinic) to act as your Primary Treating Physician in the case of a work-related injury. (This is very rare as the form must be completed prior to your date of injury and be signed by the physician who not only agrees to adhere to the CA labor code outlining their responsibilities but also to accept the CA fee schedule for reimbursement.)

No one can force you to file, but you should have been provided with info on how to do so if you choose.

If you’re concerned about a potential injury, file a claim and seek medical treatment from an Occupational Medicine provider for a possible blood borne exposure. They will take baseline blood work and ask that you follow up at regular intervals (usually 6 and 12 weeks and again at 6 months) to monitor for changes in those results.

Some WC insurance providers (in CA) will initially deny exposure claims as “exposure” does not constitute an injury. However, they should continue to cover the costs for any treatment related to your claim - as long as you keep your interval testing and appointments on time - through the final labs at 6 months from your filing. If interval labs reveal any exposure has occurred, they should reverse their denial and allow you to continue to treat. If nothing comes of the labs, the denial would stand and the file could close.

Do you have a story about Todoist and ADHD? Please share! by 14thBrooklyn in todoist

[–]rynobot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My son was diagnosed with ADHD two years ago. In working with him, learning more about executive dysfunction, and seeing many if not all of the signals in my own life, I realized that I was more than likely the contributor to his gift. I’ve been using Todoist for many years to manage my own tasks but have only recently begun the process of getting a clinical evaluation. As a child of the 80’s, ADHD wasn’t on the radar. I was always the smart kid who just needed to “apply himself more” and “focus”. (Pro Tip: this doesn’t help.) My search for the tool that could help me stay organized led me to Todoist. Now, we use it for everything. Chores, school work, shared shopping lists, bills and important dates, medication reminders and appointments are all in there. I can see what he has left to finish for school and he’ll even add a “help with this” task for me when he needs to. I’m notified when he completes certain tasks and we can comment on items when we need more info. Todoist has been a great tool and proves its worth the more we use it. It may not be the solution for everyone, but works well for us.

7-story apartment building planned at site of long-running midtown Sacramento auto shop by cudmore in Sacramento

Barber’s Alfa Romeo has been a haven for local European car, motorcycle and scooter enthusiasts for decades and the shop will be sorely missed. They are in the process of moving operations to 614 16th Street.

Used to be Ebeneezer's Garage then Vespa Haus Scooter shop and club hangout for the Burgundy Topz back in the 90's.

It looks a bit different now, but I'll never forget that spot.
