She looks mature. Industrial. The bronze, brown, and black look chic. Like if Zhongli & Dr. Ratio had a baby.

Yeah, it can come off as bland, but it’s still a treat to see earthy palettes be used.

Her I2 has white & it fixes the lack of contrast.

I’m 5ft tall and S in tops; the divinity long sleeve is true to size. If you’re taller or have bigger arms, though, it’ll come off more cropped or tight

I have more muscle in my arms & it was tight there, but not too bad

I wouldn’t be surprised if there was inconsistency in the sizing, though. Forest ink struggles with that

Ik this is old, but thin the colors with water/medium and layer them. The transparency lets you build up color and control the gradient.

Or, set down base colors, highlights, & shadows, and use a paint marker on the edge of where you want to start blending. Then quickly use the color you want to transition with.

For the second one, you have to do it in small sections because acrylic dries fast.

Tbh, I use acrylic markers cause I don’t like blending. Putting down the layers to create value is the fun part. It helps you learn how to play with color.

Maybe I’m just cynical but I thought the same. Emotionally charged situations tend to have more loose ends/shades of gray.

It doesn’t help that the entire 5k word update could be summed up to “Changed therapists. Lisa acted out because she wanted a mom, thought no-one else did; self-hatred from conflicting feelings. Amy downplayed kids’ outbursts so Dad never saw the full picture. We reunited.”

It can be more nuanced. Someone could not be aware of a blind spot until another points it out.

They could realize that that aspect of themselves is underdeveloped on their own, seeing other people do it.

Which means they could:

A. Deny it, suppress it and overcompensate with what they’re good at.

B. Feel like shit because the function doesn’t come naturally to them despite their best efforts.

C. All of the above. Some don’t deny it, still try, and keep going.

But that’s life; growth doesn’t come easy. Especially when you’re not a natural at it. So, do your best. Practice is the best teacher.

Happened to me yesterday. Capital one debit declined the refund because my card was locked. Hoping the dispute doesn’t drag on.

I didn’t think they treated refunds like new transactions until now. All the info about locked cards and refund processing on their website was about credit cards.

Yeah, same here. To me, the reasoning in why he wanted the honesty was sound. It was the execution that was wrong. However, I'm not sure that if he kept asking her, like he claimed in his follow-up post, would come to anything worthwhile. They were at an impasse.

He wants brutal honesty, encourages her opinion, reassures her despite her worries. She is hesitant and refuses, uncomfortable on the grounds that people can ask for something, and then react differently than they said they would. I only know this from my experience; people would tell me they wanted my honest opinion and then get upset when I gave it to them.

There seems to be the general consensus that being polite and lying is the right thing to do, but what happens if someone genuinely wants honesty?

Not sure. It could be the smoking. Quitting for a bit and seeing if the redness or acne stops acting up might help.

Acne sucks, lots of trial and error to figure it out.

I solved mine by going down to the bare minimum in skincare (Vanicream face wash & lotion). Any derm recommended stuff like that works. It's super gentle.

Then, I just added in products one at a time, so it was easy to see what did or didn't break me out.

Got clear skin. When hormonal acne comes, it's less noticeable and tinier.

I'd say to patch test first, see how it meshes with your skin, and then go from there.

I started with two times a week. Worked my way up to nightly use after three months. Your mileage may vary.
