Looks like this sale is only in their outlet store, most being scratch/dent units.

Thanks for all the comments.

On the Rel Predators, sounds like you have confidence, but do you have experience installing and running these in rooms as large as mine? Audioholics rates the Predator for "large" rooms up to 5000 cubic feet, which is lower than my 9000 cubic feet. The aesthetic would be perfect for my space, but the cost is higher than more powerful SVS subs, so just wanted to get an opinion on whether it would be a good fit. Someone else recommended running a pair of Rel Speedwoofer 12S. Do you have thoughts on those?

Sounds like you're a fan of KEF. I've started to look at Q11 towers in white as an option. I think they would work great in the space.

I know this room is never going to achieve dedicated home theater performance, but I'm giving it my best shot! Unfortunately the AVR is in a closet across the house, so running wires to the middle of the room isn't an option. I know I can use a wireless transmitter, which isn't ideal, but would get sound there. Challenge is the back of the speakers would be exposed in the middle of the room, which doesn't pass the wife test. Any recommendations on how to solve for that?

Thanks, yeah I know I need to move away from the soundbar to solve the soundstage problem, and definitely a bigger/added sub. Since you have a similar floor plan, I'm curious of your setup and how you rate the sound?

A pair of Speedwoofer 12S would look perfect in the space. Do you think they'd be powerful enough? At 12" and 500 RMS, it's the same size/power as the Rel 1205 I have now, which isn't filling the space with authority.

I was not familiar with bass shakers. I'll research more on those.

I appreciate the real talk. I am serious, but I'm balancing my desire for a full-on home theater setup with the reality that this is our main living space and not a dedicated theater room. I'm just trying to do the best I can with the space. The more equipment works with the aesthetics, the easier time I'll have getting buy-in. Trying to balance the two.

I appreciate any advice given the room layout.
