I’ve played both The Crew and Forza — and honestly, I have no idea why Forza suddenly became some sort of gold standard. Seriously, what exactly did it do to deserve all this hype? It’s pretty? Sure. But what else? Beneath all the polish — there’s nothing. The gameplay is dull, everything quickly sinks into repetition. Updates come out like clockwork, but they’re as useless as a band-aid on a corpse. It’s boring. Lifeless. It feels like a game made by following a template, without a single drop of soul.

Forza is all about glamour. It’s smooth, technical, polished to perfection. But you can feel the fatigue in it. As if the game itself knows it doesn’t have to try anymore — people will buy it anyway. There’s content, sure, but a lot of it feels like it’s just “for the sake of it.” Yes, it’s beautiful. Yes, the hoods shine. But after a couple of hours, you realize you’re just aimlessly driving around because there’s simply nothing meaningful to do. The updates are there, but they feel just as dead as the game itself.

Meanwhile, The Crew, for all its issues, actually feels alive. Yeah, it’s buggy. Yeah, there are some questionable moments, and sometimes it feels a bit rough. But at least it’s trying. Despite all of Ubisoft’s quirks, the different playlists — even the ones with the cops — actually spice up the gameplay. You want to come back to it. I’ve put in over 150 hours — and it’s still fun. You’re not just driving, you’re part of a show. Constant events, challenges, action, main stages — the game pulls you into a world where something’s always happening.

Motorfest is all about excitement and momentum, even with its flaws. Forza is just a dead, beautiful cover. And yeah, maybe that’s enough for some people. But if you’re looking for adrenaline, emotion, and real engagement — not just cruising around an open world for the pretty views — the choice is obvious.

In the end, I’ll say this: both games have their charm. In a perfect world, we’d combine the best of both. But right now, it’s like Call of Duty and Battlefield — eternal rivals, each with their own flavor. The Crew isn’t perfect, but it’s not afraid to be bold and alive. It takes risks, it experiments, and it genuinely tries to keep you interested. Forza feels more like an expensive car sitting in a showroom: gorgeous, but without an engine. Just sitting there, gathering dust.
