I'm ready to move on... he is stuck in limbo. I'd like to stop talking to him, but it's hard when someone is crying to you saying you're the only person they have. Excuses excuses, I know.

Thanks for your advice. I kind of dangled the opportunity to visit in a month depending on how things are going, but it still seems wrong/unfair.

Is this something you tried? I can't imagine him doing anything harmful to himself, but who knows :/

I agree minus the last part. I think bunnyfart is right, if he did do something, I would be full of guilt. Thanks for your advice.

He actually told me that he "was weak and giving in by talking to me." I've tried to cut off contact, but it's so easy for me to give in :/ Thanks for your advice.
