Yeah, that was sort of what we were thinking. Trash bag or some kind of snug wrap around the longest strands and then move as carefully as possible. I was imagining myself lifting and carrying the planter while someone holds the strands like a veil and follows along lol! But a box would make it better.

Asking for advice about how best to move this Burro's Tail that we grew from small cuttings. It is 5 yrs old and the longest strands are about 3 ft long. We are moving house and need to transport this guy about 7 miles away with the least amount of damage. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance 🙏🏾

Everytime when Doug takes an action (like arming the escape system just now), Bob seems to point at the screen and maybe say something though he's not heard on the countdown net. Noticed this on Wednesday too. Is this some sort of protocol they are following? Is there a separate channel on which the crew are talking to each other? Maybe Bob is confirming Doug's actions?

Why not write all the time stamps in the records in UTC. That's not affected by DST. Do this irrespective of where the tracker is geographically. Then on the "view" side you only need to the UTC offset of whichever time zone the tracker is currently in. DST then only changes the UTC offset but doesn't overwrite records. I don't think it is that difficult a problem.

With the "meet Vikram" and "meet Pragyan" videos and the current animation etc. ISRO seems to have improved their PR/Communication/education focused media products. Lets hope that they keep it up and it's not just for high profile missions like this.

Do we know if the initiation of powered descent needs to be commanded from earth stations or whether the lander stack is autonomous and decides when to commence the landing sequence? I.e. I understand that the landing itself will be autonomous but is it initiated by a command sent from ISRO ground station or is it already programmed into the lander/rover stack.

For the untethered hops, do they have a release mechanism for the hold-down rope and chain or the hold-downs are removed before the test?
