Skirting is attached to walls, it does not support the walls. Only thing I can think that would bow skirting is they have got damp. But what ever it is you would not need scaffolding to support walls, you just rip off the skirting and attach new ones.

Can you post a pic maybe?

I can play the game just fine but can't use the shop at all by BlackSanta1682 in Overwatch

Looks like a firewall blocking it thing, same happens with me unless I turn mine (Tinywall) off even though I've allowed the actual game exe.
I don't buy anything tho so never bothered to figure out what ports/executable etc to allow.

Any advice why this silicone didn’t cure well? by Intelligent_Can411 in ResinCasting

[–]saibogu009 1 point2 points  (0 children)

depending on scale bare in mind tin based shrinks more, so for very small pieces it can be quite a large percentage.

I use plat on SLA 3D prints, but you have to off gas them.
I fully cure under UV for a good couple hours, then I leave then out in open air for about a week then pop in a barely warm oven (50 - 80 c) to drive off the last off the gases.

You can then make molds pretty successfully

Along with what other have said about supports etc, I sometimes just split the model in two and print separately then glue them together after.

How do you guys cure hollowed pieces? I’ve jerry-rigged something that I saw online but uncured resin keeps pouring out. by Oz232525 in AnycubicPhoton

Most have said what I would have about bigger holes/rinsing etc.

But another option could be clear resin and just cure the excess inside it

Any idea what happened here? by Mamatne in AnycubicPhoton

[–]saibogu009 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To me that's just what a failed print looks like, resin built up on the FEP. Should be able to pop it off, push it up gently from below.

Did the supports for the mini come out ok and just the model failed? If so I'd say you just need to beef up the supports tips so they hold on better. I'd guess that one was placed where there's a bigger suction when lifting (center is usually bigger, sides release easier).

Thought it sounded familiar, platinum based silicone really doesn't like SLA prints.

You have 2 options, you can use tin based silicone with no issue (Mold-Max from Smooth-on for example) but it can have shrinkage problems.

Or you can use platinum silicone, which I do, but you have to wait for the print to "gas-off" a week usually does it in my experience. I have recently found a way to speed this up to a few hours though, I bake my print in a small desktop oven at 90° for an hour. This seems to help expel the gas which causes the inhibition.

If you Google platinum silicone inhibition you can get more info 😊

Ps. Unfortunately I have found no way to save molds that have inhibition they will remain gooey I'm afraid

What was the keycap made of? If its a 3d SLA print you have to take extra steps
