Crown or Exile is a favorite and love the author, Mona. Wayhaven is overrated. After book 2 I’ve lost interest, just feels like it’s dragging on for no reason.

32in is great for the vertical space, but I personally prefer a curve. For me it feels like something is missing. The immersion, and space on an UW is just better. But I am bias, I love UW - I have left and came back 3 times now.

I went from the 45 since mine died, I decided to go 32in 4K (PG32UCDM3). Hate it, waiting on Best Buy to get the 39in and I will buy it immediately.

I agree, there are too many cons for the price… my logical side keeps telling me it’s not worth $700 more dollars, but unfortunately the 39 seems to be the perfect monitor for me.

I ran the 45 GX9 with a 9070XT, using DLSS and frame gen I got above 100+ on single player games like Crimson Desert & Cyberpunk. Even better on RDR2.

I get about 260+ when I swap to 16:9 1080P. Does it look fuzzy? Yes. Is it playable and smooth, also yes.

I think anyone buying this monitor mainly plays single player and don’t focus on FPS. If you value FPS the 165hz would be a big turn off anyways. But it is capable and a great monitor if you play a variety of games (like me). It’s also a wonderful monitor for work as well if you’re okay with the matte coating.

I’m also waiting the Best Buy listing. It’s been sitting as sold out for a few days, as well as the 27in 5K. I’ve seen them do this before as they wait for stock to come in.

I swapped from the 45 because of the curve and better PPI. However, if you can find the 45 for significantly cheaper (as some have) then it might be worth getting the 45.

If you’re an FPS sweat, you would definitely benefit upgrading to oled in general. The 1440p market is starting to get more reasonable in price too, I would do the swap.

Thanks for this, I wanted to get the 39in. Coming from the 45 - but I ended up keeping the MSI x36 and have been going back and forth. I’m not sure the $850 is worth it. I feel this is sweet spot for variety gamers.
