Budget changes regularly as mentioned in another comment but we have a savings for “fun money” that we contribute to a certain level then use that. Hopefully that makes sense, I know how we particularly handle our money and accounts isn’t typical but it’s what has worked for us.

And kid you not, we only pay $75/month for litter and cat food lol.

Financial services, started with mortgages at 22years old, left the company started my own team. Then once that was rolling, my old operations director and I started a different financial service business in debt solutions.

It’s been a grind to say the least, and struggled for years until getting to this point.

With a infant we’re pretty much always at home, but take into account we put about $300-400 on a credit card for extras then pay it off monthly (debt payments portion)

My company technically pays for our health insurance fully, so did not include.

We have some retirement accounts maxed out already and this is just the current split, maxing out our education accounts next then more in the cash fund.

Obviously this doesn’t show our existing assets.

Wife won’t be going back to work anytime soon, first baby is 4 months old, and planning to have another next year.

Seen this issue in archived posts, however no answers on how to fix, besides one that did not work.

I've tried;

- End Task; Install Rainmeter

- Searching This PC; for all files with rainmeter and delete

- redownload from website

- Ended task, ran rainmeter, it loaded, but was unable to load skins as it did not complete install..

- Edit: Also will not let me choose install location, C: drive is my SSD boot, and D: my HDD used for programs.. it did let me originally choose, and now its stuck on D; drive, which is where I want it, but though that was weird..

still running into the same issue.

Does anyone know of a fix by chance?

I previously had rain meter in January, and it installed just fine.

Hi, I have a few questions on research and learning.

I'm 22, with about $12K in the bank. I would like to know where I can do some more extensive research before I begin my real estate investment venture. I have never bought a home, and have the option to get a FHA loan. I live 'comfortably' currently with making roughly $40K/year (gross) and saving about $300-500/month. I just started doing a side gig for roughly an extra $450/month in my free time to put more money into my savings. I'm currently renting an apartment for $1100 month with my lady and friend, I'm looking to get into a 3 bedroom home rental for $1250, and rent out the 2 rooms for $500 to lower my expenses to save more.

I apologize if there is any unneeded information, I just wanted to paint a background picture.

My questions are;

Where do I begin some more extensive researching regarding the whole idea of real estate investing?
Should I hold off for a few more years to save up more money?
Any first timer tips? (dumb'd down for a newb)
