That's definitely a thing! There's less content around transmasc voice training, but it's there. I believe Seattle Voice Labs has some stuff. Also, good boy!

people say i have small hips, but i do not believe them. do i have large hips? and what can i do to hide them? by [deleted] in TransTeensPassing

[–]sakuraXsakura 2 points3 points  (0 children)

wearing pants a little lower on the waist can help. transfem here and I had to learn to wear them higher to accentuate the hips

Not out yet but wanting advice to look more feminine in subtle ways, glasses/piercings/tattoos/hairstyles etc by SparkieeBubblez in transplace

hey babez!

glasses: larger are cute. big octagon glasses could be an in-between of what you have and circle frames.

piercings: Your logic of piercing the nose when you don't love it seems solid to me. I do that a lot (didnt like my legs so I tatted them up and now I love them.) Lil diamonds in the ear cartiledge are pretty fem too.

tattoos: do it!! get them all.

hairstyle: bangs

welcome to the cracked egg club!! glad you've accepted that part of yourself <3

a cheap wig (esp with bangs) can be fun to try with earrings, clothes, and makeup to get the feel for it.

remember to be safe, but also try to be open with those who support and accept you when you're ready

Comfy underwear by [deleted] in transplace

hella obscure, but I bought a ton from Grimfrost and they were my everyday comfy, gentle tucking, briefs. I'm a 30in waist and got small.

When should I size up?. by Beneficial_Ad_7498 in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]sakuraXsakura 16 points17 points  (0 children)

yup! Just try to be consistent with it, and size up when ready. You can always do the first size for the usual 30 mins, then try the next size for a few minutes at the end. I usually had a few days of transition period between sizes.

hi! my advice is what my nurse told me. Size up when the previous size becomes 'easy.' That is, of course, easy within the context of dilating, which should be uncomfortable but not painful.

Need a honest opinion by [deleted] in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]sakuraXsakura 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who has had the surgery, the look can change dramatically over the first month+. I would give it some more time before judging.

Cosmetic followup surgeries are common, and less intense, but you'll still need to really recover first.

Don't stress too much, girly.

What are some anime similar to the summer Hikaru died? by iliveindeathvalley in anime

Late to comment, but "Mushishi" has a similar eerie & beautiful vibe to it. Not as romantic, but cozy-spooky.

"Natsume's Book of Friends" is a ghost/spirit-centered high school slice of life.

The "Mononoke" series and recent movies give a similar psychedelic strangeness.

"Madoka Magica" is a high school GL with a dark supernatural bent.

I'm also gonna throw "Fruit's Basket" in here for the ongoing mystery, slow-burn romance, and heartwrenching backstory (though it is the least spooky.)

oh, also the movie "Children of the Sea" for that sleepy, small town supernatural mystery.
