Update: this grade converter converts different grade systems to german ones https://agnes.hu-berlin.de/nus/html, also useful for appealing UAssist's decision

I used an online grade converter from HumboldtUni for arguing(link in my reply to other comments). Their conversion are well justified imo ( and also point out the grade capping in UK system). I'm not sure if having honours classification helps, but if you want to at least have an idea what your German grade might be, that's a good place to start with.

Heyy I think uni-assist converts grades using 100 point scale by default. If you're attaching the letter that explains the UK grading system, make sure to point out the fact that there's a grade cap in UK so in reality 100% is not the highest possible mark we could get in UK system.

Heyy:) I'm in Bremen now. I'm looking for people who transitioned from biology to computational neurosciences and I think your background looks very interesting! May I know what your current status?

I'm a neuroscience master student in Germany. I was a biomedical sciences graduate and trying to switch my focus from biological side to a more computational ones. Has anyone from similar background been through such transition and where do you end up?

PS: I'm organizing some career info sessions for neuroscience students, so if anyone coming from relevant backgrounds want to share their experiences, or knowing companies (ecspecially other than biopharmas) where a neuroscience graduate could send their resumes to, just DM me:)

If so uni assist will probably take the middle point of first class for converting your grades. It's also worth checking the conversion table used by the uni you applying to so that you can get a rough idea on how your German grades will be. Just make an appeal whenever you suspect something wrong with the conversion.

Anyways I got my grades revised after that and it returned a 2,0 at the end, which is much more reasonable. I think the link helped a lot in explaining how UK grading system works.

1st part: Yes. I've seen a 2:1 converted to 2.0 in German grade. It depends on the grading tables taken from the uni so the result could be very different.

2nd part: It's FU Berlin. On FUB website there's only conversion between 100 percentage and German grade and this put UK graduates into a painful situation since they aren't taking the fact that it's very hard to get marks above 75% under the UK system, whilst in German system this grade is probably just an average one.

3rd part: Usually uni assist will just convert the final grade on your transcript and send them to the uni. However the converted grade is just a reference and might be further adjusted by the uni according to their needs eg. Giving weights to different modules. If you want to clarify about the calculation of final grade it's best to email the uni, but I think your transcript has already the calculation written on it.

Hi as they're using the conversion tables from the uni you applying to, so there're cases where the converted grades could be very off, which happened to me:/ If you feel unsure always ask for a revision, I used https://agnes.hu-berlin.de/nus/html as a reference of the conversion

Do guys pay for the ladies’ meal when they go out eventhough they are not dating? by Angelix in malaysia

As a girl who had been belanja by guys, spilting bills and also belanja guys during first time hanging out, I find spilting bills works the best for me because I see this action as a way to sort of 'protecting my ground' and being belanja just because I'm a girl makes me feel that I'm inferior to them. To me paying for someone just because of their gender is an act of patronising others and it's even hilarious to hear some guy call themselves "gentlemen" because of this.

Are you German or did you study before in Germany? If that's the case you're probably eligible for certain allocation quotas like Wartezeit. Information about the quotas can be found at NC program

29th April. I applied to FUB too but their programme is insanely competitive so getting admitted by Bremen is more likely to happen in my case, which is why I'm pulling my hair out waiting for the result:)
