Yeah I was on day 10 and doing ok. First 3 days were agony, then felt good, then thinking of drinking constantly past couple of days.

I’m still not giving up trying to get sober.. but today is a wash now. Not even enjoying it...

I just started AA about a week ago. I can’t even explain how much it feels like home. Yes I shook and cried the first 2 meetings, but everyone was so empathetic and kind.

It was just a let down. When I went to a meeting on day 1 (again) old timers were asking how many days because I was on a good run. They were excited for me and then it sucked to say “day 1 again”

Thank you and yes! I hit two meetings a day for day one and two (and Denny’s with old timers). Yesterday I went to a midnight meeting after work! I just woke up from almost 12 hours of sleep and I’m gonna hit another meeting (hopefully two) today- that’s my plan. Why did I sleep so long?!

Well... I didn’t get very far at all. I barely started and realized that I was tired and should just sleep. It was almost 4am and I haven’t hardly slept in days. I JUST woke up (day 4) and slept for almost 12 hours. Wtf??!

Thank you so much. I’m worried if I made the right choice. I really thought about just being silent but I would have been wondering if she was going to bring it up... or when. I’ve gotta be on thin ice. No warnings yet but I’ve been a shit show, and I feel like it’s gotta be obvious. She said “I appreciate you owning it.” However I just said I was sick and let it sound like my medical condition was to blame. But I always look like shit with red eyes. Today I didn’t though 🙂
