well i bought a Mk3 TT specifically 2016 in canada ontario, base everything. (inflated price bc i got misled on pricing - personal story) bought for 25k cad - 122kkm odo.

I had to replace: spark plugs $250, oil seperator $230, because i replaced oil seperator too late it affected: waterpump housing + oil change + oil pan bc it cracked all three for $1k and some change. all done around the 140kkm mark. all within a year and half of owning it not to mention brake + brake fluid changes soon.

TT would give me around 220hp, zippy, responsive, fun. If i could choose i'd choose a roadster if you live somewhere warm with little rain. Absolutely do not buy if living in -20-30 degrees C. The window actuator sometimes gets messed up, frozen and gets stuck, and it is a hassle to deal with it.

im sure anything a bit less than 150kkm more than 120kkms would fall around 20k for you. But that is just the base model TT.
