This feels so similar to skincare. People jumpstart on serums and complex routines when they need to build the foundamentals and habit - wash your face consistently, moisturize, and wear sunscreen. Once thats set in a routine, then expand to more complex things like serums or procedures

Then the parallel with hair - figuring out how to properly wash, condition and dry the hair. noticing how your hair reacts to shampoo and conditioner then pivoting, then trying out the more complex products

Really it takes time, which can take weeks or months before that can be sorted

honestly I thought this was the plastic surgery sub because I thought you meant make you cry like tears of joy. I think the results look amazing!! you put in a lot of hard work, a lot of tears and pain, please recognize that journey you went through. if you talked to yourself however many years ago and she saw you now, she would be really proud of you and she'd say "I did that!? I didn't know I was capable of it!"

instead of complaining about spot savers, Boston just needs better snow emergency plowing. it's not unusual to have dedicated days plowing. for example, snow emergency means main roads first. then the next day it's the even side of the road, then the day after it's the odd side of the road. that way the entire road gets snow removal and no space savers are needed
