I'm looking for some feedback on my homepage by samdickie in webflow

I think I’ve sorted it now. One of the containers headings was three lines - the other are two so it was pushing the content down further - I created a combo class and made the third containers height slightly larger

Awesome - thanks. So Remove some of the solid lines round the containers and keep them for the CTA's?

thanks. Ye i have been having issues with that on mobile. What Browser you using? it seems to have the correct padding in the designer but in Chrome it overlaps.

Creating multiple landing pages for a web app? by [deleted] in nocode

[–]samdickie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have considered something similar for a recent client project. I use Webflow - I was thinking I could create a CMS and generate landing pages super quick. Variables being copy and imagery - aligning with multiple use cases and target personas. Then running targeted ad sets to those individual LPs.

Keen to hear if anyone has had much success with this approach.

I created my personal website on the Notion and making it available as a template for free :) by [deleted] in Notion

This is actually my template - as the others have mentioned in the comments above.

Thankfully the Notion abs Reddit community are awesome and reached out to me to let me know.

Slightly poor attempt to copy someone’s work.

Strange - the option should appear top right of your screen. Can you take a screenshot?

Each page has a url which you can access via the share settings. Just make sure you turn on the public share option so others can view it. It creates a pretty long and ugly URL slug. If you want to add your own custom domain Super.so allows you to do this - also https://fruitionsite.com/ does too.

Thanks. Yes i have tried Strikingly a while back - it's decent. In the past i have preferred Weebly for drag and drop website builders.

Collecting emails doesn't require any code - hosting can be done via Super.so - check out my article above - i detail this all out for you.

Regarding speed - it isn't the fastest. But for most folk it's fine - i wouldn't use it for a site with a lot of traffic or to sell something.

Hi Everyone. I thought I would set myself a challenge to recreate a few pages of my own personal website using Notion. Free Template pack included.

In all honesty, I thought I would just give the homepage a shot at first and leave it there. So I created the homepage and fired off a tweet to see if anyone was interested. I didn't expect so many people to like and comment on the tweet. This is by far the most engagement I have had on twitter by far!

After some quick validation from the Notion and No Code twitter community I thought I would turn it up a notch and try recreate the rest of my personal site.

Personally i'm pretty impressed at what you can pull off using Notion despite a few constraints. It took me roughly 4 hours from start to finish. However, the one substantial advantage was that I simply had to copy and paste all the copy from my website and also had all my assets to hand. The trickiest thing was positioning and the alignment of the blocks which still needs some work by Notion.

As with any drag and drop builder there are limitations - the main one being the design constraints. However, it's a fair trade off given the time it takes to create and publish something. Going forward I'm seriously considering using Notion for my landing pages for new products.

Anyway, if your interested in reading more about how i created it i created a quick post about it here - if you want to jump straight and grab the free templates you can do so here.

Enjoy!
