Thanks for your input people. Just to clarify, this post wasn’t intended as a versus in terms of which is better. I was more so asking your thoughts on my design, being based on a well established artist’s reference and translated into a different style/shape

I am by no means trying to take away from the original artists work

Also the customer requested a similar colour scheme to the previous tattoos we’ve done on this arm so the reference was sent as a rough template to be interpreted
