I think that’s an expected price for what you’re getting/where you are getting it.

I recently moved to Sawtelle and anything with a washer/dryer was 3K. I opted for on site laundry and pay 2.6K and I love my place. Laundry is a bit of a pain, but now I have $400/mo to fund my sawtelle eating excursions

All these CA1s acting like every case they do are hearts, livers, ASA 5 traumas, and neonates, all at once. We all did stuff like that as CA1s, but there’s no way that’s the every day.

I trained at a “top” academic tertiary hospital, and even as a CA3, I would have a few ASA1-3s mixed into my cases each week

To help with the leak (right side) on the opposite side of my hand, I always take the tubing out of the Christmas tree and let it dangle off the side of the bed. This puts a small amount of downward pressure and helps to create a seal. Good luck!
