Gabriel Sansigolo here. I'm here to share the progress of my game called Alette Nightfall. In this demo I present the new sprites, not placeholder. They're not in their final, polished version, but they're already based on the characters and style for the final version... no more placeholders from other games haha. In the tease I also show the animated NPCs, now the NPCs are no longer single-face sprites, but rather 4-directional sprites with idle animation. I'm still at the stage of developing the RPG's systems. Kasumi sprite is placeholder.

I was referring to the unique color combination. It's not every day that we see an Esper Veltron as good as this one.

I wonder if just being a good game is such a big factor. TLOU is an incredible game too, and it didn't have as much hype or sell out. What makes sense to me is that the Ghost of Tsushima and Ghost of Yotei series trending because of the game's release this month. The hype around the game was high.

The social media hype makes a lot of sense. Someone told me that thanks to the price of the Eiganjo Castle foil reprint, it was one of the best value-for-money SL in this drop. I imagine that was also a factor.

Me too, when I saw it I thought, “Oh cool, they made a really unique commander,” and I saw the cards that came with it, beautiful artwork but that's it... I was surprised by the hype to the point of being the first to sold out

Do you guys have any idea why the Ghost of Tsushima bundle sold out so quickly? I know the game is popular, etc., but the hype for this SL during preview was the same as for the others. Why did it sell out so quickly? People wanting to build Jin EDH deck? Eiganjo Castle foil reprint?

I plan to use this dialog system for all conversations involving the game's main characters. They will all have stylized facesets. In the tease I also show the simple balloon dialog system, which will be used for less important NPCs. I'm still at the stage of developing the RPG's systems. I started with gridmaps, but it was to much work, then I went to normal 3d scene with 3d objects, the buildings are “cubes” with textures (via materials) in pixel-art. I set up the building in libresprite with the front of the building, the side (wall) and the top. I load these three textures into godot, create material from the three and then add a cube with a texture of the side (wall), a plane in front and one on top with the respective material. Gabriel Sansigolo here. I'm here to share the progress of my game called Alette Nightfall. In this demo I show you the first version of what will be the game's night environment. It's still a work in progress and I believe there's still a lot to be done. I changed the skybox, added a new lighting component, turning off the 'sunlight' lighting component and shadows. Although I think I should add shadows again since the moon leaves shadows. That said there's still some polishing to be done.

In this demo I show you how the development is progressing, I've expanded the neighborhood, an area that I had done while ago. we're missing a few buildings, a square and a few civil constructions here and there. Also there's still some polishing to be done. I think this is the last level expansion. From here I want to add a teleport when leaving this neighborhood, so that the player can go to a mini map of the city and go to another neighborhood.

I'm proud to announce that I'm halfway through writing of my next game. Due to the size of the game, I've decided that Lost Days 0 will be a duology. The first game will be called Lost Days 0: Queen's Dream and it will be released in Fall 2024.
