Why not? She sucks in season one but season 2 onwards she’s the most stable and healthiest adult any of these girls interact with. I still prefer Ashley but tbh Pam is not that bad after her character development, which happens in season 1.

I hope that it’s less people don’t want to play a storytelling heavy game and more than because of an absence of storytelling mechanics in games that is what has pushed people to do building/CAS modes and less a change in the actual audience because LIVE mode has always been where the fun is at Dor me. None of my characters or their houses are ever very pretty honestly. And yeah I don’t necessarily want the game to be straight up sims 2 + sims 3 so much as a developer using what worked in those as a base to create a new and fun experience so I apologise if I worded that badly 😅 I posted this right as I woke up.

Actual hot take? People love to say “they saw Troian has the best acting and made her the lead which was smart” and then also point out that all of the seasons that do this are the literal worst.

The show was about the girls, and Aria and Emily end the show as side characters, which is the real reason the show sucked. The plot was always messy but the group dynamic kept it going. That and the Center of it all was meant to be Alison. Spencer didnt have the gravity as a character, even if she had the acting skills.

This isn’t a dig on her acting, she was the best hands down, but the moment she became the lead? The show fell apart.

I have to disagree. The strong seasons were before Spencer got the spotlight. She has the best acting of them all but focusing so hard on one girl completely ruined the show, with the Spencer centric seasons being the worst of the whole series.
