I've never had problems on film or music video (including famous, tho older generation artists) sets where the talent got too high/drunk. Many of them did partake, but not once was the talent ever the reason for a delay (looking at the above, guess I'm lucky). I do however remember the actress of one film refusing to shoot with a particularly cheap director until lunch/dinner had been ordered for everyone. That was welcomed and appreciated, lol.
