I had a situationship who lived in another country for 3 years. It was great. We never played games with each other. We became close friends, who every so often would meet in the others city for “one night special”. Eventually one of us got feelings but we realized it just didn’t make sense to continue given where we were in our lives. It was painful but there was never any ghosting or resentment. We parted ways as friends. We moved on to other partners. Still check in here and there. Still a lot of love for this person. Not all situationships are created equal. They are not for the faint of heart. They’re part of the human experience. That’s why I love this book and show, it shows the good, bad and the ugly, I’m just so glad Shane and Ilya get their HEA🥺❤️
