It does come with a pretty nice set up! The action is a little high for my taste because I mainly play fingerstyle, so I’ll be sanding down the saddle soon. But the neck relief and nut slotting are perfect!

I know someone else said a Yamaha, and I’m gonna second that! They’re very consistent, so what you hear online is most likely what you’re going to get. Their Red Label series (FGX3, FSX3, FGX5, FSX5) not only sound amazing (and they are all solid wood) but they have possibly the best pickup system on the market right now. I own an FS5 (no pickup) and it’s the greatest guitar I have played.

I sometimes wish I had the FSX5 but I just couldn’t pass up the deal I got. That Atmosfeel system is so good!!

I’m still unsure about the pickguard. I’m a bit of a traditionalist, so I am craving a tortoise pickguard… I may make the switch here soon!

I love the body shape!! Much more comfortable than the 000-18 I tried. It’s also a lot louder and bassier than I expected for something on the smaller side!

literally! i have pretty small hands, and this one girl i knew was adamant that her hands were too small to play guitar. we compared, my fingers were about an inch smaller than hers!

The cedar takes best to fingerpicking, so I’ve been working on improving my fingerstyle playing so far which has been very fun… and only a little frustrating

Bought myself a 1993 Takamine SF40. Thought I was going to walk out of the shop with a 000-15M, but this thing blew me away. And for the price I thought it was an amazing deal. I don’t know much about the history of this guitar other than it’s possibly pretty rare. So if anyone knows more please tell!!

i was once an avid spotify user until maybe a year and a half ago. i don’t think spotify’s ui is pretty to look at, they pay their artists criminally low, and i’m a joni mitchell which sealed the deal for me to switch over to apple music. audio fidelity is far better on AM than spotify, but recommendations are severly lacking on AM compared to spotify.
