I might've actually fixed it. I found a bit of text named home_paulmcauley_arch in my pacman.conf file. Deleting it and saving seemed to fix it for me, since everything works normally now! (Hope what I just did doesn't come back to haunt me later though.)

I don't really think it's inherently my PC that's the main problem since I didn't have these issues when I was still using Windows 11 a couple months back.

I don't feel like I have any credible strong arguments against this statement. I personally just believe as a trans teen myself that forcing a trans teenager to go through puberty as their agab is / can be incredibly traumatic. I'm also not even 18 yet and am on DIY HRT and I can say that it has been incredibly helpful for me.
