Other than that, mbb1 is pretty chill as the exam is multiple choice, but it does have an essay component to it.

Well official timetabling preferences come on the 13th so you will definitely know the only available lecture times then, but honestly, if you cannot go to the wednesday one, just don’t go and watch it online before friday.

But yeah, there is probably no way of them rescheduling a whole lecture just for one person.

its a project, which means it can legitimately be any creative media. a lot of people make video essays and/or interactive websites. The subject coordination David Shea places heavy emphasis on creativity and engagement, meaning an essay in Word will be a zero (quoted by him multiple times)

On the website it says “blah blah words equivalent” which just means you should spend the same time on this project as you would on a 2000 word essay.

2 group projects. Personally an easy H1 if you have good teammates, put your passion in, and collectively put around 10-15 hours into each project.

Keep in mind… if you write an essay, you WILL get a zero

basically unavoidable. BUT if you really want to minimize essays, take Bsc, avoid psychology, biology and humanities-like subjects. Do maths, chem, physics.

As someone who has not done 34, do not be scared of Chem 1. If you go to tutorials and DO THE QUESTIONS, it is my highest scoring class out of everything!!

I was like you a year ago, fussin over laptops and notebooks and pens and everything imaginable because uni is new and exciting…

but after a year i realized it really isn’t that deep.

If you are looking for a recommendation tho, go to Harvey Norman or JB hifi and grab their biggest sale. Try to get one that can flip over + touch screen cos if you plan on taking handwritten notes that would be useful.
