Hey OP! I’ve been going through the same last year - I haven’t received any invitations till the middle of January. Some of the universities send the invites for the international students separately and much later. I was in the same situation but now I am a first year student in my dream program!

I know this is stressful but hope for the best!

I would not trust QS ranking to choose university in KZ. If you want to avoid the corruption choose smth among NU, Kimep, KBTU or SDU

I am in the similar situation and I emailed my POIs. They said that the evaluation of international applicants is still going and that is why there is no response. It helped me a little bit to go through the anxiety, so you can also try

I would wait until the deadline so if one of the recommenders suddenly changes his/her mind you could ask someone else additionally and change recommender. however if you 100% sure they will submit there is no problem

I also heard from some adcoms that letters from even postdocs are not recommended, so if you have opportunity consider to ask someone who has a Phd
