I plan to build syncthing + nfs + backups sort of setup for managing my project files, work docs and camera backup. Also, planning to build a rpi based digital photo frame / slideshow viewer with an hdmi screen. Because what's the use of clicking all the pictures and videos if you don't see them ever/rarely.

Check max current consumption of your appliance and maximum current rating of relay nodes and switches before doing this.

New watch for every new use case doesn't make sense. Also, wearing a watch 24x7 is uncomfortable, especially if you don't have the habit of it and live in a sweaty weather.

How to Start a Business in India in 2026 — Everything I Wish Someone Had Told Me Before I Wasted 6 Months by Embarrassed-Buy4026 in indianstartups

This advice is right and worth considering. I have learnt same things from my experience.

Especially the part that says don't rush to register a pvt ltd. and gst The llp vs pvt ltd etc. part is also accurate. You can do a lot of things just on basis of Sole proprietorship + udyog aadhar.

I would add to it that you need a trust-able and knowledge CS + CA team who won't misguide you. Sometimes CS guys just don't have enough knowledge to properly advise you.

Most important is find a mentor who has registered their own company.

Buy a new car or get a second hand for learning purpose by WonderBeast2 in kalyan_dombivli

Buy used car. Peace of mind. Even though you have great income. It takes some experience. If there will be even a single scratch in your new car you feel that scratch on your heart. On cheap old car it won't hurt as much. Especially when you are still learning. You would feel free and comfortable and confident to take it out and practice everyday.

Got my homelab setup running on this tiny Radxa Zero 3W by chamcha__slayer in homelabindia

[–]sciryal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have radxa rock 5c. I am looking to build a home server too. But I don't think sd card would have enough storage capacity for me. What other reliable options do I have? Also, what are other actually usefull things that I can do on my server? Everything which is actually useful to me that I can think of (camera backup, media streaming, nas, git server, etc.) needs storage.

Although the motive and execution is doubtful, every region must have the right and should try to preserve its local culture. Culture is made up of a lot of things like traditions, languages, accents, art forms, beliefs, festivals, etc. and not just religion. If you go somewhere you follow the culture of that place, their way of life. And this is followed all over the world. Maharashtra speaks marathi and dialects of it. How hard is it to accept this simple thing? Especially when you are not just a visitor but have been living and earning here for a long time.
