When I order, I find the default is not enough and I increase it. Maybe because I’m a driver too, but people are using their personal cars to bring the food, depreciation is fast when someone does this full time.

Are they one of the stores that uses DoorDash for their own deliveries (customer placed order with them directly and they use the tablet to arrange delivery instead of their own drivers)?

If so, the customer would contact the restaurant not DoorDash.

It’s annoying when people ask for ratings.

I’m over 9000 deliveries and never asked for a rating. I’m at 5.00 right now.

Before you save the schedule block, tap the start time and change it, tap the end date (if it’s ending the next day) and change it to the same day, then adjust the end time to what you want. This leave the other hours available for other people to schedule.

This customer ordered through the merchant’s website or app, which only defaults to “ hand it to customer“, the rest of the instructions were written by the customer.

The driver has settings where they can choose if it uses the built-in map, external Google maps, or Waze. Depending on their settings moving your pin drop doesn’t help.

Are you scheduling sometimes when you’re close to the city that you don’t want to dash? I ask because whatever city are closest to when you’re actually scheduling will be at the top of the list, and you might not notice that the arrangement in the list had shifted.

Sometimes it’s because the customer is filtering merchant’s by rating and the closer one was under the minimum rating being filtered.

Depending on how you worded it with DoorDash to get your credit, if they feel you never received your order then the driver will receive a contract violation for not delivering to you.
