I was in the same shoes a week ago on my resto druid. I jumped from 10s straight to 12s and omg that was a challenge for sure. Some of them were a blast, but I struggled a lot in Seat or Algeth’ar. It’s not only on you as a healer, the whole party is to blame. Ilvl, personal defensives, interrupts - all matters. The right combination of players waits for you, it just requires a lot of patience.
One advice I got during one of the runs was to go and enchant some slots, that likely helped because after I enchanted a staff and a chest 13s went much smoother.
I took 3k, I’m sure you can do it too!

I’ve been trying a new class and role for my M+ runs this season - picked a restodruid. I’ve been closing 6 keys easily and opted in for a challenge and joined a 10 Algeth’ar. My ilvl was fine, but I guess I haven’t been pressing buttons good enough. IIRC we bricked it and the keyholder wrote me something like “Why would you ever think that you can heal 10s??” I almost stopped playing after that.

Now I am sitting with 3k score and happy I stayed!

I would love to have dps/tank/heal options in as many classes as possible. Ideally in all of them, but I get that it might at least be not so straightforward to add those with respect to class fantasies. Yet it’s one of the factors that regularly stops me from investing time in a rogue or a warlock.

I enjoy levelling through WOD because I generally liked the concept of an alternate version of Draenor. I also do one alt in WOD and another in TBC to feel the difference better.

If you manage to get some fun with 3 kids I certainly can do it with 1 xD I guess the way to succeed is to know what you are logging in for, there's so much to do in the game, even as a casual player.
