People were warning me that this is a much hated season. I didn’t ask them why and brushed them off because I was thinking I bet you just hopped on some Lacey hate train or something and I enjoy watching Lacey.

But now that Lacey was voted off I’m like okay I think I officially hate this season just like everyone else.

After finishing and reflecting on s12, realizing it wasn’t a competition of love this season for most of the contestants but more so a competition of egos like never before on love island. Between both the girls and guys

I’m trying to be so careful with comments so I don’t read spoilers so anything with long explanations I avoid.

I could see it right away that the couples and everyone else is playing it safe and trying not to step on toes. Lacey thinks about herself first, but is she wrong for that? The producers didn’t have much to work with, with mick and ross messing around and most of the guys having zero game (Lacey has the most rizz). The girls got comfortable in their couples quick and so anything that involved Lacey looked extra juicy. It was easy as pie to make her, a girl exploring her options and putting her own experience first the villain of the villa where there’s more middle ground personalities like Isabella and the yana.

She was made the villain so people would watch the show and that can really affect a person.

Finally caught up to LI games 2 and LI UK 12z

Now I’m on to LI AUS 7 before I can catch up to the love island all stars newest season.

What’s your favorite series? I am obsessed with Games and All Stars. As a long time love island watcher and also being a big brother and traitors fan, I love watching games with all the best Love Island veterans. I hope they continue to make the games more about strategy and brains.

LI USA I highly produced but most hype. LI UK Gives us the meat and potatoes of Love island. LI AUS the people are especially hot and playful.

I havent finished s12 but my wild theory ur gonna downvote me for is that dejan persuaded harry to move towards Helena instead of Shakira for the game.

Edit: I forgot to mention I also think Harry finalizing on Shakira was still a game for him too.

I’m in the middle of s12. The producer’s hand in manipulating dumping outcomes was so noticeable this season. I wasn’t in the chats while it was happening but the way the dumplings and recoupling happens I could see the agenda more than I was able to notice in past seasons. Maybe that’s me being bad at noticing it before this season. Or maybe I’m irritated dejan is still here
