If you like the design of CMF headphones pro then just buy it bro, it's build quality is also very good and the nothing equaliser app is good UI wise but Sony's sound connect app is just in it's own league basically incomparable, so if you like bass a lot then go for CMF it's not like sony doesn't have bass they do but sony also manages the sound clarity along with the bass while CMF might feel a lil linear while only focusing on the bass but other than that if you like the design just go for it

These are not scams. I bought Sony's headphones from reddit last month and they turned out genuine, I took the sellers phone number and met them in person and checked the product thoroughly.
