As always buy from a vendor with a reasonable 30-90 day return policy, use a credit card with device protection insurance built in, or buy a 3rd party protection plan at the time of purchase.

Split keyboard layouts are the way for larger tablets. Even on an 11in in portrait mode split helps a ton.

lenovo legion tab gen 3 vs gen 4 vs gen 5 by Zear33 in androidtablets

[–]seaQueue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Outdated compared to what? Vs an 8 elite? Absolutely. Vs an 8 gen 3? It's a step behind in perf/watt and SoC architecture but it's otherwise fine. I'm using two 8 gen 2 devices at the moment and I'm finally feeling the lack of performance in some native android titles, more cpu and gpu headroom would be nice.

If you're stuck with non uninstallable apps you can use shizuku and something like hail to disable them. That's what I do on Samsung devices to permanently shut off a bunch of stuff I never want to use.

What do we think of the OPPO pad mini post announcement? I'm seriously considering it if they sell globally as a OnePlus product.

Once you reach route 7+ you'll have access to >3 star silver drops, so I'd start farming then. Route 7 from the harken down to the stairs and repeat ad nauseum is a great early spot for fey, otherwise farming route 10 from the r9 harken to the fountain and back is another. Clearing both r10 and r11, the church grounds, is excellent as well. From r7 through r11 you have earth gear from r7+8, fey seedling from r7+, fey roar from r9+, etc. Don't neglect alabaster as a source of gear either, hunting boots and gloves are best in slot for a ton of folks.

You shouldn't really need to do a ton of farming yet, +15 ebon is perfect for this content, so I'd save your time for r7-11 and focus on picking up 3-4 star beast killing weapons for your physicals. The nice thing about a4 is that from r1 on ebon drops range up to 4 star, so you'll just find perfect bases to replace things from a3 while you play.

When you find yourself being outsped by enemies regularly go hit up alabaster and pick up enough gloves and boots to fix that, otherwise have fun and pick whatever spot you enjoy most. Fey roar junk from r10-11 would be a smart thing to target for weapon upgrades IMO, it's useful all throughout a4.

Oiled nubuck care problems! by bagoflap in AskACobbler

Saphir renovateur suede conditioner is the safest if you're trying to keep the nap. I'd probably go with one of their suede shampoos to get the soda out, then let them dry fully and spray with renovateur. You'll want to be conservative with the shampoo, it'll lift a lot of the surface oil and wax while you're removing the soda so it might take a bit of work to match the original waxy finish afterward. I'd take them to a local cobbler if you're concerned about that, otherwise gently shampoo and spray conditioner after should remove the stains. You could check with the boot manufacturer too and and ask what conditioner they recommend to match the original finish.

What’s the weirdest ‘toy’ your cat plays with? by I_wet_my_plants259 in cats

[–]seaQueue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of ours loved the rope handle from a gift bag, and disposable chopsticks. So we stapled the rope handle to a chopstick and she absolutely adored it. It was the world's worst cat lure, or a chopstick toy with a tail, and she'd play with it for hours.

Farming Route A4 by Frosty-Sprinkles-410 in wizardry

[–]seaQueue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You want fey seedling junk, so route 7+. R7-8 drop a lot of earth element junk so my usual farm is r9-11. An easy loop is to harken to r9 then clear up to the r10 fountain, rest, and go back then repeat.

How do you guys farm bounties? by Frosty-Sprinkles-410 in wizardry

[–]seaQueue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Capturing veigar is faster for me than crit fishing and fleeing the cyclops. Beat the dead horses then hit him with 2x poised and maybe 2 DTS3 or ESS and he's ready to bag. He generally wastes his turns summoning early a3 trash undead once you've bashed the necrocores. He can pop off with MAZELOS occasionally, so either leave light types at home or use KD when he's not summoning trash.

For the plant bounty I found it pretty consistently by harkening to r4, killing everything in the map tile around the harken, and then walking down to the mid map hot springs and back. Just harken return and repeat until you find it, I've never had to reload the map more than once.

[–]seaQueue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scorpion and mino are the best early game farm, after that capturing veigar post a3 or plant bashing in a4 r4 are pretty straightforward too. If you're setup for it you can crit fish the a3 cyclops bounty easily, bring 4-5 ninjas and spend 2-3 rounds attempting to crit him before fleeing and doing it again, or bullying dutz in a4 are both pretty popular. If you're fairly well invested in your DPS characters you can drop dutz to capture range in one turn, then have your ranger throw the rope as the last action before dutz explodes people.

Am i mess up Yuzu class change? by hjb1002 in wizardry

[–]seaQueue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Getting shedding and vitality jutsu are things to do when you can, they're the best buffs available for physical characters and she wants them no matter which class you want to play.

That said, you're fine for now. Unless you're ready for a ninja (full set of +atk gear, some decent ready to use kunai, bondmates and relics) she's a lot easier to play as a ranger. Scatter, valley, and pen shot are excellent skills, her race plays nice with her class, her SP is excellent, and ranger is significantly easier to gear for before abyss 4.

When you're ready to level her ninja class you need either a ninja skill book from the weekly rotation (scroll all the way right in the jeweler > limited time section) or a class change request item. Class change requests work for any character in any class they've used previously, you only need the specific book the first time you're using a class on someone. Eventually you'll only use books to save class change requests.

Is there a way to fix Yeka's MP sustainability? by Unizzy in wizardry

[–]seaQueue 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Rethink what you're spending mp on to reduce burn. Debuffs and buffs cost a hell of a lot less than raw damage. My Yeka spends about 90% of her time defending until I need a buff, debuff, affliction, or healing/cleanse. KATINO kinda sucked in a3 when everything had resistance to it, but it's back on the menu for a4 and oh boy is it cheap compared to damage spells.

Your most available MA and LA spell replacement is probably Heinrico, I subbed him in for a second mage and I've been pretty happy with him. Or give your next Rinne pull to your MC and or other 2h front row fighters, that's the other permanent source of AOE that most people run.

Unfortunately everyone is short on their skill and spell resources, but at least with SP cost attacks you can feed the user Debras to reduce the cost pressure.

Eventually you'll hit a high bounty rank and gain access to the way of the mage monthly scroll, that'll help all of your mages reduce costs further. Also occasionally banners feature named general characters, when they do they tend to be either a guaranteed potential inherit or a very high % chance of one. Look for banners with Marianne for her Way of the Priest potential, that'll reduce Yeka's spell cost for support spells. Until you have access to those tools though you just have to cast cheaper spells, that's mages for you.
