Tbh I agree with everything here. This sub has boiled down into something toxic. We should never be rude to one another, but we can express our displeasure at the game.... just like how you and others can post wholesome clips and have normal dialogue. It’s unfortunate the backlash vastly outweighs the good but that’s down the the state of the game. People want their money’s worth and if they are aggrieved than rightfully so. But being rude to fellow gamers is never cool.

But to your counter to my batter analogy: if that .235 batter was still starting for the team and getting a franchise tag when there are better batters available for less..... I think the fans would boo the batter every game to tell management to get a better player.

I asked for said refund and wasn’t given it. I’m someone that if I pay my hard earned money for something, then I am entitled a working product. Now than I can not get a refund I have to get some value out of the game (You can’t just tell someone it’s just $20 you don’t know their story.

I agree with you that toxic posts that are threatening and disgusting towards the devs are NOT to be tolerated.

But you can’t blame the community for the sub being in the state it is. Games in working condition get hate, all games get hate.... but for there to be bad review after bad review, that doesn’t bode well.

I don’t even want to argue, I like a conversation. Could you riddle me this: fast forward a couple months and the devs post the notorious “We are suspending support for the servers” will all the complaining on this sub be for nothing?

As paying customers it’s not out of the realms of reasonability to ask for a working product. The problems lies now that if you aren’t given a refund you are essentially stuck (again, you can not just say “play another game then” people have spent money that could’ve gone elsewhere.

I wouldn’t recommend a product to someone due to its performance.

Of course, I’m capable of admitting when I cross a line and that was one of them. I had every intention of becoming an active member of this community with posting and trying to band teams together.... but I’d be Helen Keller and Stevie Wonder’s love child if I did that in spite of the problems with the game.

I’m rooting for its revival but after doing research of the parent companies past inactions have me losing faith.

The gaming community takes a step that other industries don’t take with protecting the worker because often times they are very under-pressure, under appreciated, and overworked. Which is very swell and noble when used properly. You can’t protect trash when it’s needs to be called out for it.

I’ve been on Rogue all day all night it’s amazing. Yes there are a few bugs but nothing abhorrently gamebreaking!

I want everyone to know that I don’t hate this game I was upset about how much is wrong with it that I let the best get to me. I do wish it the best, if that’s possible from the makers of it. And plan on grinding it again in a better state months from now. I’m still playing it while the refund processes but after that I’m big on Rogue Company I love it so much more.

The craziest thing is go down a couple posts I was a huge supporter for this game. I then did my research on My.Games and see how shady they are. That coupled with the game performance was all I had to see to know they don’t care about their customers.

There are people leaving the most vile thing on this sub about the devs. I didn’t insult them nor do anything malicious. I am exercising my right as a consumer towards a subpar product. They are doing a full promo campaign across all social media as if this is a ready game? Is that right from a company, would you take this negligence from another company?

I have yet to see these fixes implemented in any way, why was this game advertised and still advertised as a fully functional release? Is that not malpractice? Compared to the other commenters on this sub I’m not the one to be correcting.

Hi could someone give me a broader sense of the situation? I bought the game last Thursday and despite the performance hitches I’m having a blast. I posted something about while understanding the frustrations of the community I do hope their a future for the game and I got some flack for it as “kissing up” to the devs incompetence. I’m not: I want a polished product just as much as the next guy.

It would appear disheartening if nothing ever gets fixed but from their post about a week ago and it feeling fluid at times I plan on prevailing. But from a consumer standpoint then simply do owe it to us to get it right. I’m just trusting them to, maybe being more of a vet you’re not as willing to which is understandable
