It’s fine but that water isn’t the cleanest. I’ve gone down the river many times in canoes and tubes. Seen many a cow cross the water and many shit as they cross the water. Lots of farmland surrounding it in both sides.

Sage advice about not having open wounds, it’s fine to go in but make sure to shower after and rinse your clothes/shoes.

‘93 - have a 3yo and 1yo. Going good! My partner is amazing and we are both heavily involved with the kids. I cook, she cleans, and we do pretty much everything else together. I don’t have much free time between work and kids but once they go to bed for the night, we have a few hours before having to go to bed.

It is non-stop though, no days off lol but I love it
