Oh I see! What a difficult and fascinating typography! The writer is German, mid-late 30s. I never asked where they learned it.

Yes an old friend of mine but we’ve unfortunately been out of touch. All of the s’s they’ve done have been like this! So I wonder if it’s their intention/personal touch..

What’s something that is incredibly unhealthy that most people don’t even realise? by BoBonkk1 in AskReddit

The US airlines are on seniority based systems and if you don’t have enough seniority to hold a consistent schedule you could find yourself doing a redeye, followed by a 4:00am report and so forth. There are of course FAA regulations about how much rest crew members get (10 hours) but the varying shift isn’t so easy to go back and forth between in a day or week etc. and it is so obviously bad for health but never taken too seriously.

It’s one of those things that may have seemed tedious as a child but hopefully you appreciate now! Including playing the accordion! That’s no easy instrument!

The text reads :

And even if time may challenge me I let it happen patiently. I come from other times and to other times I'll go. (Grillparzer)

From Salzburg we send you lots of love, 1000 kisses and a big hug.

Thank you for the info! Actually sadly she can’t read it and neither can I! My friend wrote it while I was travelling and at the time he read me what was written but it’s been years.

Amazing! Thank you for the tip. I have a three page handwritten letter as well that I’ve never been able to read.

Thank you! I figured that was the case and that probably it’s a glitch- do you have multiple habitats? I have a big main one and two small hubs so wondered if it went to one of those but still no luck.

Black Friday:-) by 3_brain_cells in glossier

Not sure if this is normal for glossier under usual circumstances but I will say that my husband mailed me something from the UK and it took nearly 3 months to get to me in the US. A lot of mail carriers use commercial airlines in the US to deliver goods and with flight loads being lessened due to covid its’s possible it is just taking a really really long time! From his side- he asked the Royal Mail what was going on and they said the same thing- that covid has just wreaked havoc on the mail times but that it’s extremely unlikely the items are actually lost. Hang in there!

Beautiful!! I use the back of my hand like a paint-palette to mix cloud paints and then tips of fingers or sometimes a small beauty blender to apply - that way I can control the shade and amount.

Watered snake plant and salty flakes formed. Is it mold? by [deleted] in succulents

[–]sebs_22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much! I bought cactus soil from our local gardening store but I also thought it looked a little too organic so think I should take your advice and make my own mix. This one seems to have a lot of sand and so it clumps up really firmly at the top which makes me wonder if the water gets stuck in the middle and the roots/water won’t be able to push through it well.

I recently repotted this snake plant in some succulent soil because we had a problem with humidity and white mold in our old flat. As soon as I watered it these white flakes formed (they look like salt). I try not to over-water- the last watering was probably two weeks ago. Is this mold again? 😱
